SAARI

SAARI Collective acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands we now call Australia, on whose lands we live and work. We stand in solidarity knowing sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the profound value in traditional people's knowledge and actively advocate for more equity and inclusion.

The SAARI Collective is a community of South Asian Australian writers and creators, telling stories that represent our experience in Australia and our ideas about the world. Our mission is to give a voice to the next generation of South Asian Australians, to map the South Asian Australian experience with a virtual map, to be leaders in showcasing the diversity of South Asian Australians and to bring our community together.
